Episode 206: My Life is a Miracle with Scott McDermott
Hey Friends!! This week’s guest episode has everything – laughter, tears, and the unmistakable hand of God.
Joining me on the podcast this week is Scott McDermott, a man who has had not one or two, but three near-death experiences in his life, all of which could have taken him out…but God. When Scott says, “my life is a miracle,” he is absolutely telling the truth, and his story is one that is a true testament to the miracle power of God.
After going from fat to fit, Scott built a 15,000 square foot gym in 2002, and wrote a book called “If Your Body Were a Car, You Wouldn’t Treat it This Way”. He entered his first Triathlon in 2005 and fell in love with the sport! In November 2015 at the Ultraman World Championships, Scott crashed his bike going 43mph, breaking multiple bones, including his skull. After a remarkable recovery, Scott went back to the World Championships in 2018, and placed 25th overall. Scott’s life is truly an inspiration, and it’s my honor to share it with you.
